In the next few months we’ll have two great musical programs. Come join us on these Thursday evenings:
On December 10 at 6:30 p.m. : The Semi-Sweet Singers will take you on a sentimental journey. Sing along to your favorite holiday melodies while the singers supply the most delicious harmonies.
On January 7 at 6:30 p.m. : Come and hear Sean Gaskell play the Kora, a 21-string gourd-bottomed harp from West Africa. Inspired by a Kora band he heard in Seattle, Gaskell traveled to Gambia to study with master musicians. Now making his home in North Carolina, he has been featured at music festivals in the United States, Gambia and Senegal. His performance will feature both traditional Kora music and his own compositions.
